Intake or Rotors??

I am really trying to decide on what I want to do next to my car that will be the best improvment for the money. I was thinking about an Icebox or an AEM CAI, but I am not sure there is a big enough improvment for the money. On the other hand I want to put some Rotora's and some Axxis pads, becuase the stock rotors suck. Any input on which way to go in this case?

AEM Intake. The sound alone is worth the $

I am curious about the sound of the intake...is it going to sound like that little Ford Focus' I see driving around? You know the kids that think they have nice performance tuned cars, but really have a piece of shit with an intake and the big rice muffler...

How much of the sound can you hear outside the car?

Depends... you in for the sound or stopping distance... If you want more hp, better sounds than intake, better stopping distance rotors... your call mate..

I just cannot imagine that 3-5 hp makes any noticable difference

its not even that i think...it just sounds nice when it hits vtec...i see u have an 03, so ur rotors are prolly still good condition, so go with the intake....AEM for sound, Comptech for stock looks....

I wouldn't call the Ford Focus a POS. It's very popular in Europe. Gets good gas mileage. And is the basis for the Focus Rally car. Plus they are so inexpensive to own. I like the hatchback SVT.

Anyways, to answer your question, I would get the Rotors and pads b/c unless you have headers with your CAI intake, the difference in performance is negligible.
