Intake Idea...would it work????

I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the ground-lights and fabricate a CAI using those holes and some sort of filter....would this be possible...if so would it be any good????

You mean the fog lights? Yes, it's possible but you'll be exposing your filter to the elements.

btw, find Shawn S' photopoint page. He has the diagrams on fog light removal.

what do you mean by exposing your filter to the elements...i was thinking of making a housing similar to the one there and then running a pipe(like the one on an AEM CAI) connecting them at some point and then running it up to the enging the way that the existing AEM CAI goes....and along the way i would prb. place a bypass valve....

I think Jrock and Nova ran a pipe from the foglight area to their stock air box and also removed the resonator. I dont
remember if they made a "how to" or not

I had regular CAI with the road lamps removed. I think it helped a little (probably mentally). Now that I put the road lamps back in. The car feels a little slower, not by much, again it could be mentally slower.
