Intake
Okay, right now I am in the process of purchasing a cold intake. I already have the headers, and its fast already. However, friends of mine tell me I must put the intake on. I am searching online, and I still havent passed through a review stating which is better, T
thE AEM V2 or just the regular AEM cold intake?
I know a lot of people say the comptech icebox is cool, but I heard the regular AEM cold intake on another Acura CL, and it was sweeeeet! You dont have to give a full response, if someone can just tell me if the 60 bucks extra is worth getting the V2 or is the regular cold intake just as good? THanks!!!

the v2 is not for the type s, it is for the tl-p/cl-p. The v2 is a bit deeper sounding than the regular aem. i had the v2, and it was a bit too loud for my taste. personally i would prefer a quiet ride and i say go for the ct icebox

If you like the loud roar, get the AEM or Injen. I think a lot of guys say that the Injen is better. I had the AEM, and it broke, and I hated the noise.
If you like a more stock sounding set up, get the Comptech Icebox. A little louder than stock, and the appearance of it is more in tuned with the rest of the engine bay.
Also, it is easier to clean etc. Just don't over tighten the bolts that hold the cover in place. That's my only issue with the Icebox.

get the AEM. vtec sound will be pure sickness... ive had in on for bout 2 yrs now and i still dont get tired of the sound.... you'll get alot of hissing sounds while idling in colder weather.. if that kind of stuff annoys you get the comptech, but im used to it...
