all depends on how much you will be driving your car, what your driving record is, and your age.

I've got Mercury Insurance, and for 2 cars on my policy for one year of coverage it's a little over $2K.

Other factors that determine the premium are how much you want your deductibles to be, etc. Good luck.

Yep we can only give you a ball park range. It's going to depend on your record, where you live, what type of coverage, single car, multi car, credit, & who your insurer is.
Most people pay anywhere from $800-$3k/year.
I pay $1600/year full coverage for 2 cars. About to shop around cause mines up June 1st.

it's pretty ridiculous, i think i have to buy a $300 car and put the cl-s6 as my secondary driver just to get the rates lower...

Your best bet is to shop for yourself because there a several factors that goes into that equation and where you live is a very important one. I'm an insurance agent in Southern California and you being in Oklahoma right off the bat I can tell you that your insurance should be less than in California. The factors that affect you auto insurance are age, gender, driving record, annual mileage, marital status, geographic area, the vehicle or vehicles you own and what coverage and the limits of coverage you choose. There are some other small factors but the others are the most important that most companies use.

the type S is considered a high performance car and this why the rates are a bit higher than a base CL..........<- came straight from insurance agent's mouth

I'm a bit older, and my rates are pretty low, considering. I pay right around $200 per month for:
Full coverage: 01 S2000
Full coverage: 03 CLS 6
Liability: 1990 Chevy Lumina (My 18 Year old Son)

Mine went all over the place depending on what my address was in NJ.

Before I traded it in, I think it was about $1600 a year. And when I lived in Jersey City (higher crime), it was closer to $3000.

mine costs about $2200/yr for full coverage (Allstate). i'm 18, and the cl-s is my first car. Also, i'm insured for my parents cars as well (Tundra and a Tahoe), which explains why the insurance costs so much...but mainly because i'm 18 =/
