Installing SPC control arms?

How difficult is it to install these on your own? The dealership quoted me $120 per side, which I know is insane. Won't I need a special tool for the ball joint? For that much money I'm tempted to do this on my own. Any good DIYs out there for this?

if i were to get this control arm, would it cure my inside tire wear? on the front drivers side tire, the very inside of the tire gets at least 50% more wear than the rest! it has ate up 4 tires in 2 years so far, and its driving me nuts! i never had a problem when i was stock. would i be able to adjust the camber with this control arm so that this would never happen again? also, can i just do one side? I dont have much camber issue anywhere else.

It should give you enough adjustment to correct your tire wear problem. I would do both sides so you can get a good adjustment.

my friend was saying something about caster camber plates which he has on his mustang. they are supposed to give 4 way adjustment. this control arm would just adjust for camber right? i dont think i can get them seperately anyways, but i would if i could because i really just need it on one side!
