Installing ccfl's today
So I started installing my red ccfl's/angel eyes today.everythings gone fine/easy since I have done the lights before.trying to get the rings to line up and look good is dificult.Anybody else lined this up before and can give me some pointers.
easy part....
oven bake 220 for 7 minutes
have'nt painted the back of the lights yet.trying to get this to line up first.

This might not be where the wiring going to go but you have to temperally do something like this to try fitting it into the housing.any idea's to lining these things up?

ok see what I did is lined the large one up where you have it
but the small one is the hard part
the large one leans back at the top and forward at the bottom
the small one is glues to the back at the top and then you haave to adjust it to match the same angle so what I did is not glue it to the back but in the middle of the round part of the light

that was the only way I could also get the high beam to line up.But my bezel is painted flat black with no clear,so I really wasnt trying to glue to it cuz I didnt want it to peel off.But if thats the only way looks like I'll have to at least clear the bezels.maybe even have to repaint. You have black bezels ,any prob with them peeling the paint off.
try to put as much glue on the top of it as you can to hold it securley
then just a dab of glue on the bottom
actually I used super glue on the bottom but the other glue every where else
This part is so frustrating I was freaking out when I did mine because I just wanted to see them on my car but this part took me around 2.5 hours glueing reglueing reglueing ETC but take your time it shows when you do
then you heat up the light and pry it apart
this was one of the first mods I did it looks sick when your done
Dont know if you guys are like me but,I couldnt wait to get these lit up.halo's lit fully installed in just the bezel. These look sick, super bright, and super straght.took over a hour to line up one side.

I have a extra tcs/cruise switch that will go in my dummy spot where the vsa would go.hard switch to wire.but it will be done right any non acura owners will never be able to tell it's a modded switch.
the switch shouldnt be too hard to wire. all you gotta do is figure out what wire connects with what.
I think if I opened up my headlights (1. to actually re-seal them because of these condensation problem and 2. to do a projector retrofit) I would do this. They're really growing on me
I just did white ones on a lancer they look good, very clean but they dont really have a wow factor, but that seems like what you guys are in to (the clean look) you should do them.
Im doing a custom projection light on a friends 05 grand am if it looks good I may be changing mine to a projection for high beams

Here's both next to each other. They look a little differnt in the pic,but there the same.Dropped off lenses to body shop to get wet sanded and buffed.Hopefully I have them back tomorrow and installed. Then the fun part ,wiring them to my switch..
those are definitly not angel eyes devile eyes Is alot better name for that.people say the blue one look evil
did you black out the back of the CCFL, because there going to reflect like crazy off the reflective part. just a suggestion but put the back of the light on and take a pic.
yea blacked out the the backs like you described to me.I'll put a pic up with the bezel sit'n on the back.since I dont have the lenses yet. havent heared from the shop yet so there not on the car yet.

MrFluffy has some competition lol

Retrofits FTW. I bet it's alot easier for you 2nd gens with your massive headlights. My tiny first gens has been a bitch with the shroud...
they look good except I don't like their color choices
