Exclamation The inside of my dome light is melted.

I put in an after market blue light bulb: it got too hot, melted some of the inside of my dome light, and now it doesn't work. I'm not sure if the wiring is melted. Is there anyway to tell if power is getting to there? I found some new dome lights on ebay, so that maybe the route to go. Just need to find out about the wiring.

lol That sucks.

take off the dome light and check the wires with a probe to see if you have a constant
