injen vs. AEM CAI ?
The injen intake look pretty cool as well.. especially the blue one!!
But more than likely, they are about the same in terms of performance.. some people say the sound is not as deep on the injen.. which I think is a good thing, it's got balls but doesn't have to yell about it..
it kinda reminds me of another polish intake some people have..

Having installed all of the systems currently available for the TL and CL I'd have to say that they all work about the same. The Injen is a newcomer to the game and is as well made as the AEM unit.Xepphyr appears to be out of business so that is not a choice. In the end either the AEM or the Injen are good choices and it will probably boil down to color choices and cost.Jens
Welp...
On the CL-S... I havent seen factual performance data too choose one over the other. Really the only difference would be the filter element...
Injen makes their own filter... AEM uses K&N (As did X)
As far as I know the use the same grade aluminum with the same diamater tube and same size wall.
In pictures it seems Injen does have a more flowing gradual bend in their pipe.... but that could just be the way it appears pictures.
So like I said... comes down to the filter...
The rumor of Injen outperforming AEM is based on recent performance on some newer cars... especially 4bangers.
Injen has been producing some crazy results on Dynos.
Their new Short-ram for the RSX-S produces 18HP on the dyno!! Pretty impressive if you ask me... especially looking at the RSX's awkward/cramped engine bay.
Anyway, if it was me... I'd prolly choose Injen just because... their CAI looks BADAZZ... plus you dont have to cut the logo to put the bypass on like you do with AEM. Also, their CAI is cheaper.

my friend has an injen one. i have an AEM one. Mine has MUCH deeper sound. by far! sounds meaner
i think mine looks better than his also. He has the chrome one, and it looks kind of cheap. He has changed the filter 3 times to make it sound like mine, but no luck for him. He wished he had an AEM. He took it to the track. I think the best he got with the injen intake, and denso's was a 15.1. And mine pulls harder in VTEC than his also. My actuator doesnt work, but i can feel it pull harder. Your choice. Get what you want. If your going to win, your going to win. That extra 1HP or something is not going to do it for you :p just my 2 cents..
