Injen CAI.... sound impressions.
Injen CAI.... sound impressions.
Reading about the AEM Vs Injen debate, here's my take:
Pro:
1) Improve Performance at the track by 2-3MPH Trap Speed.
2) Cost less than AEM. $199, Shipped, with FREE Cleaning and Re-oiling K&N kit.
3) Look nice, polished, red hoses included.
4) Fits right (2nd generation)
5) Quiet when the engine warmed up.
6) Quiet when crusing.
7) Freaking loud when you downshift to 2nd, WOT at 45MPH, going off a ramp
8) Freaking loud when you downshift to 3nd, WOT at 75 MPH, passing some jerk
9) Real Technical Support and Warranty.
Cons:
1) Fitment problem (1st Genration)
2) Hiting the bottom splash guard, over speed bumps and hard S cornering.
3) Funny noises when engine cold in cold mornings.
