be careful with teh alternate brands, those are just knock off's of UR's design, but will still probably work alright.

I just gone my helix spacer adn UR crank and alt pullies myself today

I should be getting my VAFC2 tommorow, and I'll be doing a stock dyno, so I can compare after I have everything on.

Its something off ebay. I actually talked to my friend who is a mechanical engineer and he said the product is the same as long as the material and design are the same. I did my research and found that the knock off's do exactly the same thing that the UR does. I'm not trying to badmouth UR but honestly its just a piece of metal they CNC machine guys, no need to pay high costs for it. Just my 2 cents...

you are going to love the pulley, like everyone says, give it some time, i didnt notice much until over a week later, i noticed the engine was much more responsive to the gas pedal, i've done everything short of the spacers and mugen cooling mods, thats next when i get the chance and then im maxed out on bolt-ons, have fun!

Time for sleep- The crank pulley is supposidly around 10-12hp and the thermoblock is around 8whp. So all together around 16whp maybe not totally sure but hey its an increase! lol

CleanCL- Yeah I heard a lot of good things about crank pulleys on all motor cars so I thought I might give it a try. When I actually installed my headers, the car felt slower but a week passed by and now I think my transmission is going out, my third gear slips sometimes, lol. *not a good sign* I cant wait for all these mods to be installed, the next one is the mugen and spoon stuff just like you said.

I agree ... but you are also paying for the fact that if something goes wrong and the part is defective you have someone to complain to... sorry for the HighJack

sweet, come back and post the dyno whenever you can.

hey peak, you're going to love those thermobloks. it's always fun to install power-gianing mods together. i recently did my icebox and thermobloks and that was tight. pretty soon i do suspension mods. i have my illuminas awaiting installation along with my 18s.

My third and fourth are completely out, it doesnt even hold in those gears... I setup an appointment after work today. The service guy told me he's gonna arrange a enterprise rental. Should I force him to give a tsx or tl loaner?
