infinity reference 605cs components for the fronts.....are these good speakers or do they sound like cardboard? i've been doing some research online and mb quartz is just way, way off my budget!

Go to elitecaraudio.com They are very knowledgeable, and helpful. I decided to go with the Directed Studio 3065s. They are 6.5" components but use a neodium magnet, which means they can be mounted in shallow depths. Do a search for 3065, and see what they have to say for them. I bought mine for $189 shipped. Other great components are the a/d/s, CDT Audio, and Focal.
