The one that holds the bracket securing the cable before it reaches the BFV spring on the plenum-manifold. I have searched with google, DDGo, and these forums for IMRC, bracket, cable and I cannot locate this fastener spec. All of my tools are in a moving truck or I would have this figured out in less than five minutes. I must replace this as it vanished during a manifold removal cleaning- this all started with the car stalling when returning throttle to idle which was a bad bad thing to happen at 78 mph. I have a week to get this car running or I lose it.
01 CLS-270k, bought this car in 04 with 32k on it.
Thanks thoiboi, I think this actuator looks a lot like the throttle cable assembly especially from this angle I chose.
Thanks zeta, and acurazine community. I have soaked up a lot of info on my car I didn't know about in 16 years of ownership over the last 24 hours. For anyone searching the forums this air plenum valve is also called bypass valve, and assembly called bypass valve actuator. This particular fastener I was looking for is 95701-06012-08 a honda part readily available. Unlike the bypass valve actuator, actuator wire and actuator bracket which oemacuraparts.com lists as discontinued. At the time of this post, there were 3 actuators listed on ebay.
