The piping from the Icebox to the S/C is different in the auto vs. the 6-speed - everything else should be the same.

The auto also uses a centrifugal pulley and the 6-spd is linear...but Comptech sells the adapter. Just called them and ask for it.

Your best bet is to call this number:

Comptech USA
Phone : 916.933.1080

There is more to it than just the fan shroud. The intake piping is different as allmotor_2000 mentioned.

You will need the fan shroud modified by CT, and there is a cast elbow, used in the piping from the air box you'll need. As Scalbert suggested, CT will be able to hook you up.

And BTW, the pullies are the same,... but don't waste your time with the stock boost pulley, install the high boost pulley right off the bat. Also, DO NOT buy the EMS from CT,....spend the extra $$ and get the E-Manage kit from Hope Systems, you'll be in better shape for future mods and tuning adjusments.

Sounds pretty cool. bow much is the E-manegement though??? Im thinking a lot more expensive then the comptech ESM. And I am getting the High boost pulley, where I live i can get 93 octane so its cool. Also, I just got off the phone with Joe from comptech and he said that I need, modded fan shroud, ESM, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulator, tranny cooler, and cast elbo to fit my auto.. All that is 378.50.. not to bad... I thought it was going to be a lot more. tell me more about his E-manegement and why is it better..... plus whats the price diffrence on it from that and comptechs ESM.

Thnks man-

The CT EMS simply hides the positive boost pressure from the Acura computer. Without it the car will stall when it sees the boost. The E-manage does what the EMS does but will also allow you to control the stock, or, larger fuel injectors, and the ignition timing, both of which are critical in tuning a forced induction engine properly. As far as $$ go, if you don't do it now, you will eventually, so if you have the $$ now, you might as well do it right to begin with.

I would recommend first doing the S/C install as CompTech designed it out of the box to make sure everything is working properly. Then I'd do the HBP. Just a thought. BTW, installing the HBP will void the 2 year S/C warranty. Using the CompTech ESM requires no tuning. However, I believe E-Manage requires custom tuning.

E-manage does NOT require tuning, but allows you to do so if you want a safer set-up than the CT kit gives you.

cls6sp03, you should be all over the e-manage!

wow... Thats a lot of info... I really dont know.... I think im going to stick with what comptech has to offer first. How much is the E-man anyway? and you mentioned that it is safewr to run the E-manegement. what do you mean by that... that my engine will blow! with the comtech ESM??
Thanks
