Went to the import drags in Nashville today, and Horsepower TV was there for and upcoming show. There was one old RX7 with stickers all over it, loud as hell, with a huge NOS bottle in the back, 6" diameter tach on the dash, and the camera crew was all over it. In the time trials, the best he could muster was a 9.6 in the 1/8th. I pussed out and didn't race, but a Type S can pull mid 9's in the 1/8th stock. It was soo funny seeing him lose in the first round and packing up to go home. There was an older Galant there that was pulling mid 7's in the 1/8th. I saw a video on the web of him pulling an 11 sec. 1/4. There was a guy in a new Beetle that put down a supercharged Saleen Mustang. Alot of sleepers there.
