DuraShine?

I've seen commercials for the that stuff on TV. Theoretically, it seems like it would be a good product because it prevents beading. Anybody have any experience with the product?

Yeah, I've tried it! ...It works PRETTY GOOD!
I like to use it in-between major polish(wax) jobs, because you just put on the clear, gel formula WHILE the car is still WET! It goes on really easily, and it "sheets" the water pretty well. But, you still have to towel dry some areas! It leaves a nice shiny finish - but, nothing like an orbital "polish" job!

Yeah i saw an info thing on speedvision the other day for dura shine and was wondering the same thing. do you still have to use a different wax or does this replace your regular waxing?

No more scratches thanks to the dumbass who walked on my car and had to pay to have it repainted.

It is actually a POLISH - not a wax (carnuba)
It molecularly BONDS the paint!

Stay away from that crap. A neighbor used it on his Buick. The water doesn't run off like its supposed to. Dirt actually sticks to it. It can't be undone either. If you want to remove wax, you just usedishwasher detergent, right? That doesn't work with this Durashine crap. I strongly advise against it. Use Meguiars step four.
