i'm in some deep shiet...

wassup guys...
i was on my back from a second "Fast and the Furious" viewing and my boy wants to go for a spin...as stupid as this sounds...he gets his 3000GT and we headed out

no problem just a whole lotta fun driving @ 100mph+

on the way back
i'm almost home
hmmm....not even 3miles away so i get off the highway and stop at a light

i see lights flashing behind me**shietz**
i was playing it cool hoping it would be me
but of course it has to be and the cop comes running out and starts yelling evey ill thing he could say about speeding me being a local college student and the fact that i was korean....

isn't that fucked up
he actually told me to pack mah shiet up and go home...this guy was no joke

and then he tells me he should tell one of my professors to give me an F in class for being so stupid...

idiot...newayz i think it's gonna cost me my license or at least thats what he says

i already have 4 points on it so i guess eventhough i just get a speeding ticket i'll have my license suspended for who knows...a few months to a year

i didn't even get a ticket but this guy told me to check my mail..i guess that's how they do it these days

i'm expecting something close to a G in fines

speeding @ 100+ in a 55mph zone...
wreckless driving....my second one~~sigh

i'm fucked....

what to do what to do...

ne suggestions???

i would really really really appreciate it

thanx

oo..... that hurts.

Well if you fight it you can go for him being a racist bitch. God I hate racist people..... but unfortunately I experience racism all the time.

And that's in Cali where EVERYONE is a minority (Largest group is caucasion with 48%). How sad is that. Damn. Well I'm just ranting now.

Pony up the bills for a lawyer, they can usually work something out with the court.

Umm - well, I would say - SLOW DOWN! I got a ticket for 90 in a 70 ( a FUCKING DAY before I got my V1...) and I've been paranoid ever since. I couldn't go to traffic school again (yet) because of an "asshole move" around an old lady going too slow in a construction zone.

Needless to say, I rarely go more than 10-15 over now... just not worth another ticket this year.

BUT - you could hire a lawyer, or try to take it to court and beg for them to send you to driving school (if applicable in your state). Here in FL, you can go in and usually plea no lo contendre (no contest) and they will make you pay the fine, and FORCE driving school (doesn't count towards your voluntary school choices). They usually withhold adjudication (no points assessed).

Good luck!

Sux to be korean. Fooken cops just sit in korea town (annandale) in VA and just wait for koreans to leave a restraunt or anything else and they'll pace you until you do something wrong. HATE PIGS!

My suggestion, Get a lawyer. You lucky your not in VA. in va everymile over 100 is a day in jail. Also WHERE'S YOUR RADAR DETECTOR???

good luck bro.

that sucks, if he didnt make you sign anything then dont worry about it . He shouldnt be able to do shit. But if he did then you might be screwed. I agree, get a lawyer and hope for the best.

Wow, the cops in Pittsburgh sure have a lot of nerve! Imagine, pulling someone over just because they're clocked doing 100MPH+ in a 55MPH zone on a public highway. And I'm sure he could tell you were Korean through your back window at a distance in the dark, which is obviously why he singled you out. I bet he would have just looked the other way if he caught an Anglo driving 100MPH+ in a 55MPH.

If you're going to drive like that - don't complain about it when you get caught. And with a previous reckless driving charge good luck fighting the ticket in court – even with an attorney.

Also, the only thing worse than racism is people that hide behind it when they're caught doing something wrong. From what you described I think you could have been a Martian and the result would have been the same.

Well said. I have to agree, if you had a previous reckless driving current, why are you doing 100 in a 55 ?

I'm with you BarryH. Everyone makes mistakes in life, but a SECOND wreckless driving violation??? Gimme a break. Talk about not learning a lesson. And what gets me is no remorse, no "I really learned a lesson", no nothing. Just complaining in that silly pidgeon English about the cop. I think the people of Pittsburgh will be a little safer now.

One of my best friends is Korean. He's also one of the most intelligent men I've ever met. It doesn't suck to be Korean kid...it sucks to be stupid.

From what you said, I think he let you fly this time. I've been in your case a while back. I was driving fast in 35 zone (didnt know how fast). A cop flashed his light. I stopped. He pulled to the side yelling "This is 35 mph zone not 60. OK?" I was like "I'm sorry. I didn't know I'm driving that fast." He said " Slow down" and took off.
If cops didn't give you a copy of the citation, you never got one. Dont worry and slow down. Good luck to you.

Not sayin Tuboz is right but maybe he meant that the cop was spitting out racial stuff after he stopped him and walked up to his car. I've had cops ask me, "Do you speak english?" What kinda shit is that?? do I speak english?? Next time they ask that I'm going to say no and just say stupid shit in chinese.

And are you sure you were going 100+. Bc from what I've heard and known even close to doubling the speed means bye bye car and hello JAIL. Not flaming you cuz my girl is korean.

Wrong.

No judge in the world would allow a driving record to be entered into a court case. Each offence stands on its own. Take it from a relative of a Traffic court Judge.

Insurance companies, on the other hand, are NOT bound to the same rules. Either way, you're fucked.

Anyway Turbo was talkin about how the cops said that racist shit after pulling him over he wasnt talking about how the cop pulled him over because he was Korean. There's no need to say shit like the cop said ever- so why dont you fuckin think things thru a little before sayin shit like that next time alright? Let that be a lesson for YOU.

Yeah, that's right. Everybody who shows up in traffic court has a "clean" driving record.

That's not the point he was making. Whether he was reckless of not in this case has nothing to do with what's on his driving record currently and cannot be used to determine current guilt, true. But that's not what he meant.

Here's the easiest way to explain. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

Officer: Any priors?
Speeder: Yes, I have one reckless on my record.

Actually everytime I go to court for a traffic ticket the judge ALWAYS asks the officer for the drivers previous record and asks how many points they had. One judge was being easy on people that had their first moving violations and for people like me, basically no mercy.

Same here...every time I've gone to court for speeding, they tell me "well give you 6 months probation this time, only because you have a clean record and this is your first ticket." If only they knew how many other times the same thing has happened...

Difference is... you guys are WAY too close to "Absolute Corruptionville" - aka DC.

Seriously, in FL if they ask without having a good reason to admit in into evidence, you can get the case thrown out... usually on appeal though. I guess they figure most won't appeal a traffic thing... and they're probably right. Traffic cases have the same evidence rules as criminal trials.

You fu^ked up...but it happens from time to time, we're human.....we cant help it! I have way too many tickets on my license, 4 pending, and now i'm forced to slow it down. If you get a court date then i suggest you talking to the cop and kissing his a$$ a 'lil.....you know, try to win him over or something. At least try and see what happens. It's better to talk to him before court and try to soften ghim up then just show up and 'free ballin'

when you do something like that other motorist are in jeapordy, you can cause an accident which will involve innocent victims because you decided to drive 100 mph. that is why police get very mad and they do often lash out at the perpitrator.
In Long Island just a few weeks ago when that movie first came out, a corvette and lamborgini dished it out at that same speed and guess what, they both crashed and the driver of one of the cars was killed.
You should learn from this incident and discontinue that bad habit of driving in the 100's.

Peace
