i am aware that front tints in Illinois are illegal. i got pulled over last week and received an ordinance ticket which was only $20. does any one know what happens for the second offence? i have 45% fronts, 35% backs and am not taking them off

Wow you got off easy! I had 20% rear and 35% front on my other car and I ended up paying $110 all said and done with that ticket. In IL you can tint as dark as you want on the rears and rear window but you cannot have ANY tint on the front doors or windsheild.
