27K. Acura prescribes a solenoid change and tranny flush. She died today at 29,689. Do you know how gay it is to be be stuck in second, hitting the rev limiter and bucking like a bronco all during rush-hour traffic? :o

Yeah, i've been thinking of posting this kinda topic but haven't a time to do it. Anyways, let's here it from the people who got their tranny replaced. So far my CL-S had almost 11K miles and it will be turning a year old this coming week, and it runs like a champ since the first day I purcahsed it.

My problems started at @25.5k, and the tranny finally completely gave out @ 26.5k on the way to the freaking dealer (Acura Southwest\aka Sterling Macall Acura) to get it looked at Now being stuck on the Beltway in Houston on the entrance ramp toll booth going toward 59 (South) completely sucks especially at 8:00 in the morning in the middle of rush hour. It's a good thing I didn't see any 'typical' Houston drivers that morning or else I surely would have died

...and yes, I drive it pretty hard. If I wanted to drive like a grandma, I would have gotten the friggen premium.

My Transmission is on backorder right now.

My tranny started acting up at 7,000 miles (jerky shifts on occassion). The whole thing was replaced at 15,000 miles. The thousand miles before that, the tranny would constantly slip.

California here!

Problems started shortly after getting the car in 11/00. They were ever so slight. They got worse a month ago and transmission died two weeks ago with 21,000 miles. The only reason it lasted that long was because it wasn't run hard. It's been sitting in the back of the dealers lot for 2 full weeks awaiting a new transmission.

Uh oh. I think this thread is contagious. I didn't have any problems until today (maybe), 29500miles.

I'm not exactly sure if it was the tranny or not. I was coming down a slight hill and felt two brief losses of acceleration while the foot was on the gas. Honestly, it kinds felt like the ABS kicked in twice real quick.

Is this symptomatic of anyone else's first negative experiences, I can't remember all of the symptoms from previous posts.
