I just got my new amp in... a jbl 1200.1
should i run triple type r's or just one idmax? help!!!?!?!

Hey nokio, thats the same amp I have and I have been looking for suggestions on what subs to get ever since I blew out 2 12" Infinity Perfects (crap) so let me know what you decide!

I hate questions like this. The 3 12" will be far LOUDER and will need more space. The 1 12" will be loud enough, and require less space. The IDMAX will even drop lower frequencies. Which do you prefer. PLus if you got one IDMAX but cant afford 2, you can always buy another one. You shouldnt buy a 4th 12". Like Nicky Pass said, if you do consider the 1 12", you should listen to both the JL W7 and the IDMAX.

my friend has that amp pushing 2 12" L5 squares.. sounds good in my opinion.. and just a question, if you are going to spend so much money why not go with a JL instead of a peice of shit JBL?
