idling problem after installing mods

after i installed the 3 peice underdrive pulley set, intake manifold gasket, and the throttle body spacer the idle is all messed up. when i'm in park or neutral it fluctuates from 750rpm to 1,500rpm. but when i'm in gear, drive or reverse, it's perfectly fine. any ideas?

Or do the idle re-learn procedure. It's outline in the FAQ.

Leak or your idle air control valve needs to be cleaned.

almost certainly a leak , anything from incorrect install to forgetting that tiny vacuum line near the back of the manifold next to the IAT

i'm pretty pissed off. i found the problem and it was due to the intake manifold gasket. it just wouldnt seal completely. i tightened it enough so the gasket wouldn't crush but it was still leaking at the corner of the gasket. i now have to end up buying another intake manifold gasket for 90 bucks and throwing this p2r one away. what a waste of money and time

The P2R one wont crush unless your using an impact wrench to tighten it down. Make sure all the bolts are nice and tight and you should be fine. Several of us have that gasket and have never ran into any issues. Also, if you do have a defective gasket for some reason, Im sure P2R will replace it for you
