So we had a lovely (*cough*) day of snow out here on Long Island.

There is a nasty road near the company I work that does a lovely S, with the road sloping down on the sides. There is one turn
that has 5 'turn this way' arrows, and they get knocked down ALL the time.

(the ironic part is, most cars wouldn't take much damage if the signs weren't there).

But anyway, today someone slides off the road and hits something. Big commotion, police cars, fire truck there, the works.

Then car B comes by later, swerves to avoid the accident, and then smashes into a pole.

The later, Car C swerved to avoid the accident, and then smashed into car B.

Gotta love Long Island drivers.

Oh yeah, and as we were driving down it towards lunch, I saw a Pickup truck do a 360 on the same road. Slow down people!!!!

oh yeah here in Queens these people with their big SUV's think they can do whatever they want in the snow......since we have this snowstorm going now Im seeing these fools rush around and endanger innocent people in their path.....

 

It's just a lack of common sense. People seem to think their cars will behave the same way they do in dry pavement.

Yesterday I was first in line at a light to make a left turn... the intersection was very slushy. When the light turned green, I accelerated slowly and made a steady, deliberate ("slow") turn. The prick behind me in a corolla started beeping the horn since he thought I was going too slow!
The thing is I look back and see the slush being thrown everywhere so this guy obviously didn't have much traction.

I honestly think stupid people should be shot, or used in medical experiments.

 

some moron in a mustang almost smacked everyone on the road before what idiot.

 

i have idiots here all the time, mix snow with em and they become even more retarded

 

Around here the people driving the SUV's believe there some how invincible. So they floor it and the next thing ya know there traveling sideways. Then you got the people doing 60 down the roads. 4wd don’t make it any easier to stop.
