Icebox question

for those who installed it yourself, do I need any of the screws from the stock intake and the stock beam that goes up against the fender wall? I think I lost them all already. If so then I'll go to acura and buy replacements.

I dont think so. I think you are supposed to remove that beam anyway. Check CT website, their instructions are pretty good.

You don't need the stock beam. The box will occupy the space.

anything's to look out for o install guys? my resnoator is already out so it should be a mcuh shorter endeavor to install the icebox.

btw, do you guys know what I mean by the beam? it's this small metal piece that bolts right up to the side of the car. on the Injen you remove that piece to bolt the intake's side screw hole to the body so it doesn't wobble and move.

that piece comes out, and you use the hole to bolt in the box.

ok last question... w/ a dremel tool and resonator removed how long should it take me to install? I estimate 45 minutes to an hour considering all my tubing is already out and only 1 screw is holding my stock airbox in place.

I can't wait to get it on... hopefully it's better than the injen I had. I just wanted it b/c I want everything to look stock in the engine bay...

looks like a short ram with tubing going to it... personally I think it's a ripoff for $250 but oh well...

heres a tip, your bellows might rub against that little orange plug. I pulled the plug off the bracket, removed the bracket and bent it upward 180 degrees, and replaced the plug so it floats above the bellow.
here are some pics.

I have more time than money.
and i'm not saying that i'm rich, I just have no time at all.
thats why everything I installed, including the headers, were done at night.
