Ice box vs Oem intake minus resonnator
I just installed the icebox and it seems to me like there wasn't too much difference between the Oem intake and icebox.main difference is the horn is pointing fwd. Has any one dynoed their car with the resonnator mod and the ice box. Couldn't the piping on the oem air horn be modified so it points fwd?. thanks

put the icebox on your care and you realize it isnt a waste of money, everything is smooth and nice and a good amount of airflow, i like how it sounds like stock until you press on the gas, that way you dont sound like a ricer when your driving down the block.

That's what I was thinkin before i bought my icebox.
One good thing I like about the icebox is that less dirt gets into your engine bay becuase the holes where the pipe goes into the front bumper are covered.

A K&N without the resonator does not equal the Icebox, sorry.
You guys are freakin cheap, $250.00 for the icebox is nothing, especially when you consider the performance versus stock.
Let's take a $30,000.00 plus car and start jerry riggin mods, instead of buying proven performance products from Comptech, that's brilliant.

The stock airbox with resonator removed is not as efficient as far as getting more air to the engine as the Icebox is. If you check out the pipe that goes from the throttle body to the intake box, you'll notice that Acura added a lil dip on the bottom side. ALso the inside is not as smooth and is fairly restrictive.
