I wanna big bag of CHIPs...

Those RSX guys are running low 14s and even one guy who ran a 13.85 with just a chip/intake/tires. Where's ours? wasn't there one in production or in the talks? How come nobody loves us? I need a Hondata to shave half a second off my time. Damn.

I love tryin to figure out a thread from the title alone... Don't you feel kinda scared that your warranty won't be honored as much with the chip? Making the exhaust and intake system breath better is one thing, but altering the ecu is something that can be scapegoated when things go wrong.

i'm with civic4982...... but alas the CLS is like a girl with a KICKASS body but a so-so face. Minor tweaks really make it HOT but alas it isn't as good as other HOT HOT girls and it doesn't get the attention like hot hot girls

Why? Without engine managment and BASIC bolt-ons the CLS has the ability to have nearly 285crank HP. That's MUCH more than anything the k series can claim with bolt-ons. There is alteast another 15-20hp and 10ftlbs of trq available that can be unleashed via an mod chip for the j32a2. K series is awesome but j32 ain't chop liver.....it's just nobody bothers to develop anything for it.

Its made for luxury, not for speed.

With a ton of power, its only gonna be good for going in a straight line anyways...

I doubt many more mods will roll out for us.

cl-s's biggest enemy is not the 350z, g35c, or rsx-s....its WEIGHT

Now imagine a cl-s weighing the same as the rsx-s...which one would u want now if they had the same engines they respectively have now?

thought so

I like those stew leanard's chips with their 7 layer dip. I did however, eat the dip one time past it's freshness date and got a little buzz from the fermented beans and avocado.

So, more HP = a better engineered, designed, & quality engine?

I guess 60% more displacement is not a factor.

The J32 is a good engine. But Honda has invested far more in the K20.

For chips, cams, pistons, kits, heads, dip, salsa, ..... K20 >> J32. The K20 market and platform can support it.

Well we can agree to disagree lol i'm not going to say the k series is chop liver cause it's not but i'm just saing the potential of the j32 hasn't been explored full. Geeze look at what allmotor was able to do with FI on a car w/o full management and proper tuning etc., sad thing is we will never know

face it, we're the bastard child of the lineup

but i do agree the J32 engine is an awesome engine...it's just too bad it was mated to a junkie tranny while noone wants to mod it up b/c we're so heavy
