I think i might sell the CL-s, need advice
i dunno ive always had a passion and dream for an e36 m3, i like it more then the new one, its just amaazing in every aspect(performance). The acura is my first car had for 5.5 months, its pretty fast, handles pretty good, luxurious, but doesnt do it for me
I need that M3, RWD, endless mod capabilities, and 0-60 in 5.5, what else could you want.
NE Ways im proabably gettin an M3 close to summer time, and i still have time to think if i should keep the cl-s or get the m3
Also most M3's with 60k or less, are only around 16-18 g's and there fast.
I dunno if im making the right decision in getting that m3 for the next 7 years: Are they relaible in the long run, and how will it be in 7 years being, a 13-14 year old car????/

THey are fairly reliable. Not to the level of acura 9aside form our trannies), but they are quite well built. My family has a 17 year old 3-series and it handles like its brand new. My dads 2002 GMC Envoy has more squeaks and rattles in the suspension than this thing. Also, M3's hold a resale value like nuts. Look at how much a old E 30 M3 with 100k+ miles is worth, its insane. I would say do it. Your out in Cali so you don't have to worry about winters and stuff so thats a plus. I would definetly get the M3.

I have always liked the E36 M3, but I think you need to have alot more driving experience before stepping into something like that. The insurance is going to be expensive and maintenance on any type of high performance European car is bound to get pricey. The interior is nowhere as nice as the CL-S, but it does handle 100X better.
The only thing I can really suggest is buying it yourself, insuring it yourself, and maintaining it yourself. You'll appreciate it much more if you have to actually work for it, not just have the rents' writing a check.
I'm not gonna give you shit for having parents with money, because wtf on here would turn down a nice ass car when they were still in highschool? But, I think you should maybe be happy with having such a nice 1st car and save your money for getting a place on your own. Nothing is lamer than having a hella expensive car and still living with your parents after you graduate.
