I think I have water issues

So yesterday on my way home from work it started pouring. From the moment I got in my car til the moment I pulled into my driveway. Then it pretty much stopped.

So I got in my car a bit later and tried to drive down the street but once she hit about 20mph it seemed like the fuel was being cut off, and she was struggling to stay on. After about 3 minutes it was fine and drove like normal. It did the same thing today but for about a minute.

I was thinking maybe water got sucked in through my CAI. I wanted to think water got in my gas but I filled up about a week ago and haven't had a problem til yesterday.

Any clue to what's going on?

I guess my intake got damp and was causing some breathing issues. It dried up and I havent had the problem in the last 2 days.

Had the same issue. Do you have the drivers side fender liner? Cuz if not the CAI isnt being covered so anytime it rains its going to suck water into the engine.

I just have the resonator removed, drove threw a huge puddle yesterday and couldent see my windshield for about 10 seconds. No problems surprisingly. My front is pretty darn low too. What you described seems to make sense although.

I wouldn't worry about anything. I have the resonator removed too and I have a big hole in my fender liner and never had any problems driving in the rain.
