I doubt you hydrolocked your car. If you did, you wouldn't be driving it.
You do need someone to find out what is causing the MIL indicator. A "scan tool" will be required to find out what is causing the problem (find a "well-equipped" buddy or see the dealer).
High-pressure water can get into a number of different places.
You’ll get a million and one guesses until you reset the MIL lamp or have someone see what OBD II code was thrown to make it light up.

I know the car sucks in water during idle (the matter is how much). (See TypeR's response about it needing to be submerged.)

Have you ever looked at how much water gets left in the engine compartment after a "regular" car wash with a low-pressure hose?
Where did you point the water or did you look in the engine bay to inspect it and/or any connections, etc?
Is it firing on all cylinders?
Did you decide to just not run the car now?
Why do you believe that the water only went up the intake and is not somewhere else?
Have you ever gotten a MIL lamp before?
That's why I finally decided to ask Santa for one of these:

(Thanks Santa)

BTW, after a good DIY car wash (me with a $12 nozzle), I have enough water running down on the filter to have it completely soaked. I've started the car during the process to move it, and never have had a problem with a soaked K&N filter...

As I said, remote diagnostics are "messy"/"difficult"...

its probably a high concentration of moisture in "mist" form that got into your cylinders, thus the engine got retarded or something, but it should do nothing to do any damage to your engine... don't worry about it

The K&N recharger kit claims every 50k miles...but I tend to follow the acura manual so I dont forget and just do it at every 15k. (that's also good since you can visually check the filter for any holes).
