I raced a 350z tonight

Ok my freind brought his dads 350z to the movies, and hes like you brought the type-s?

Im like yes, you wanna race.

So I said from a roll(b/c i have no tread and fwd), so we go from 15mph and its in first gear, so we are rolling and he does the honking, at the third honk we were at it, i pulled instantly and was ahead by 1.5 cars the whole time until i 90, when he started creeping up and then i shifted into 4th, and then he started coming and we went at it until 130. The outcome he beat me by 1.5 car lengths, i was proud of my cl for keeping up that well.

BTW it was an automatic, unmodded

Mine has intake, and about 180 pounds extra of audio

So all in all i was a happy mofo, and he was shocked b/c he was stating that his car runs a 14.0 flat and i said no way, and proved him wrong

Now its time for headers

A 16 year old with bald tires racing up to 130mph on public streets is disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully you won't kill anyone other than yourself.

BTW J.T.'s 3.2tl, it was on a street called skypark, at around 11:30, there is absouletly no cars and occasionally a few cops. Not to mention it is basically a one mile strip running parrallel to an airport strip.

I don't think anyone really gives a shit if you hurt yourself...j/k. But the reality is that you are likely to hurt some other person. You could sideswipe a little car with new mother and her baby in it and kill or permanently injure those people. So, true, shit does sometimes happen, but you are absolutely responsible for the shit that hits the fan.

Yes this true, i would hate to ruin anothers/ take anothers life by racing. I usually dont race at such speeds, it was just an impulsive decision, and went through with it. But also my freinds did check both ends of skypark and were watching to see if vehicles were in sight. But trust me i dont do this often the risks are high at those speeds. you have no time to react. But ive been in these situations many times. I'm slowly curtailing my reckless driving habits, worried that one day i may not be good enough or quick enough to avoid a disaster. But thanks for your input and concern.

350z auto is most certainly faster than a stock CLS auto. you beat a driver not a car.

Go check out what ppl with auto Z's are running on the 350Z forums. a 14 flat is freakin simple to hit. I hit mid 14s at 3,000 feet elevation and with a few mods I'm well into the 13s. Let me know when you want to run.
