I want to put an Eibach Pro-Kit on my CL, and a shop quoted me $400 for the install......I was like "WTF!"

Is this the going rate? Or am I getting screwed?

the shop may as well take a pic of you holding up a sign that says "$400=OWN3D"

It really depends on the location. At school, there aren't that many performance shops... actually, close to none.

So I called up all these shops in the area, and I was being quoted 200-350. That was the going rate.

Then I called a performance shop in a nearby town, and they quoted me 130. (Although they did admit that they had under-quoted me... they weren't familiar with the TL's suspension setup)

Shop around. If you keep getting quoted around 400, then that is the going rate in that area.

Good luck.

i would say do it urself. at least jack ur ride up take the shocks off and just bring the complete assembly to a shop. have them compress them and take them apart and assemble the new setup. then go back home and put them back on. should be like $40. spend the rest of the $$$ on an intake or something.

Just wondering, but how much did you pay for the Eibach Pro-Kit? Sorry I can't contribute to the install thing, I'm looking into dropping my car though =)

Thanks.
