So I'm driving down Hempstead Turnpike heading east thru the Levittown area (for us LI'ers) me and my 2 friends are in the car and ahead I see an older Infiniti G20 all riced out with exhaust and undercarage lighting and a burgundy early 90's Legend messin around, we were bored so I decided to join in. So I pull up on the left with the the legend to my immediate right and the g20 in the far right lane. I look over at the Legend and I swear with the 15 performance company stickers lined all the way down his door and the full vinyl graphics he had down from front to back (fast and the furious style) all coupled with his "wanna-be-fast" wing all must have equaled at least 100 whp. But anyway, i look over at him and he was def. ready to go with the G20 but I think he got a little hesitant when I lined up so while waiting for the light to go green I just look over to him and smile then blow a kiss at his girl in the passanger seat, that got him, ha ha. so the light goes green and I give him the break, with about a car on me from the break I launch run out 1st and 2nd by the time I'm hittin 3rd I have him by a car and now we're coming up to another light. So I procced to line up again and now this time he really wants to go. He sits there revving the hell out of his motor in neutral so me and my friends just keep laughing it up, and now my friends are antagonizing me to really go at him so I say "fuck it" slip the shifter into 1st and wait for green. Look over one last time to blow 1 more kiss to his girl and then green... Launched hard and spun for a good 20 ft while trying to feather the clutch a little to reduce spin, hook-up run out 1st, then 2nd again and now I got him by 2 1/2 - 3 cars already, went into 3 @ just about 80 and shut it down.

I thought for sure with the stickers and wing he had we wouldve been even power, LOL

 

think about if YOU had that many stickers...you could have had him by twice the lengths...

 

maybe all the stickers werent functioning right

Sounds like it wasn't that slow of a ricer tho if you only beat him by 2-3 cars till 80. He must have actually had quite a few mods under the hood, because those older g20's aren't even a match for the 2.3 first gen cl's (stock vs. stock).

 

The G20 wasnt even in the picture it was the Legend that I was really racing (and laughing at for that matter, stickers and all), the G20 was a joke, no mods just a loud exhaust, later on down the road the G20 caught me at a light and I ended up knowing the kid.

 

Oh okay, thats a better kill, i was thinking, damn that G20 must have been on boost or the bottle, because they only have like 120hp. 140 for the touring ones.

 

i hope that guy bought an extended warranty with those stickers.

Yo you were in the p-lot when I raced him? That was me spinnin unfortunately, I couldnt hook up I had to feather the hell out of it and still didnt hook up for about 20 ft off the line. I had so much extra weight in the car to top it off (3 ppl including me, plus shit in the trunk). I'm always on Hempstead Trpk next time you see me flag me down (Lic Plate: KSMYTYPS)

He had exhaust, I dont know what else, but with the way I was spinning I'm surprised he didnt ever take the lead, and he was further than 2, closer to 3. I was just shifting to 3rd @ about 80, 3rd gear is a real good pulling gear...
