im in search of 9 flat 1/8th mile and high 13's 1/4.... im currently running 9.5 concistantly on stock (heavy as hell wheels)...im concidering wheels specifically SSR comps 17/8 tirerack said 14.4 lbs:wow: and i know sooner or later ill have RES and MMII so my questions are what can i expect or even hope for
light wheels: how many tenths can i cut off my 1/8th (im hoping for 2)

RES assuming 12-15 hp 15-17 lbft accross the rpm band

MMII assuming 20 HP and 10 lb.ft
9 flat and a 13.8 or am i dreaming????
one last ..I've heard APEXi has a rev limiter/fuel cut device that allows for control over this...another 500 to1000 revs what do you think...maybe someone could put our car on that 1/4 mile calc. with 76oo and 8100 as the red line...???

well. You can run 14.4 in cold weather with an intake. SO, with headers, exhaust, lightweight wheels, RES, spark plugs, sticky tires, and no more than 3 gallons of fuel left(needle should be on the "E") in your tank you will be able to break in to the high 13's.

Now, your 13 second CLS depends on how well this MMII works. MMII should mimic nice cold weather so that should help with the temp factor for those peeps, such as yourself, who are in the south year round. Cold weather will make atleast .3 second difference in times. In 50 degree weather i ran 14.9 and 32 degree weather i ran a 14.6.

Steve, I'll be hitting the dyno soon and let you know how much hp is gained w/the lighter weight wheels. My guess is between 5-10 hp. Not a very good return on investment.

Well, true. But not every mod will give you 30hp. Tuning isn't cheap.
