I need someone to go look at there struts....

I hit a big ass pot hole yesterday and later last night I started to get this god awful squeak from my front passenger side. This morning I looked under the hood to see if I could find the problem and I now know where the noise is coming from. On the passengerside strut, if you put your finger on the actual bolt and screw in the middle of the strut (NOT the ones that attach the assembly to the frame of the car) and push on the finder you can hear and feel the squeak It also looks like its not really centered in the hole of the frame. I need someone to go look at theirs and tell me if they are both centered (passenger and driver side). My driverside is nice and centered but the other doesn't look like it is now. By centered I mean if you are looking at the top of the strut there are the 3 bolts that hook the strut/spring assembly and then there is the big silver piece in the middle with a thin ring of a black rubber looking boot....the black ring is nice and even on the driverside and the passengerside one is not....it sits more towards the front center of the car Can someone look for me?!?!

if it makes you feel any better, there was a 4x4 piece of lumber laying across the highway just as i crested a hill. i nailed it at abour 80 mph, bent the sh#t out of my rims too. but no flat, at least not until the bead popped of my right front. but that's while i had it sitting in my garage.

Same here, I hit a damn wood stud on the freeway at around 90MPH. Luckily, I only got flat tire and off alignment.

Dealer help me fixed the flat (at my cost $10.00 - no warranty), but do the alignment for ........FREE.

Don't mention about the pot-hole to the service guy.

Smitty in New Orleans they do not have counties, they have parishes. I am from New Orleans and when I took my car to visit one summer I scratched my freaking rim, and my car was only a week old, New Orleans streets suck.

haha pimpin is sneakin' his ads in...

if it is a bent shaft then it'll only cost you about $200 to fix (with install I'm guessing) you should go over to atl.com and see what tim and get you a deal on a stock strut for...
