I need some help from anyone with Axis Se7en Mod's

Hey guys, i'm over here in the 2nd gen forum to ask a question about the Axis Se7en Mod's , since i know quite a few of you have them. I got a 97, and im' thinkin about takin off my 19in RH C3's and putting the Mods on. However, i've heard a few bad things about the Mods, namely that they have a clear coat finish which cracks/chips easily, are easily bent, and come with no warranty. Is this true? What opinions do you guys have? Any help is greaty appreciated!

I don't have 7 mods but I tried to order a set of Axis supermesh from spyeng.com and the guy told me they had to send all of them back because the finish wasn't good enough. He made it sound like they were really picky but I kind of got the idea they must have been pretty bad to send them all back.

Not sure about the issues you've mentioned. I've only had them for 2 months and haven't had any finish problems yet. I'll let you know if they do occur.

Haven't had any finish problems... only b/c I'm OCD when it comes to cleaning/waxing my car. I have a set of 19s on a Comptech drop + Koni/Neuspeeds. However potholes are inevitable ... if struck at freeway speeds. Gotta watch the tire pressures ... I keep mine at 44 psi cold at all corners. Anything less is just asking for bent rims.

Other than that, love the rims. They look killer during the day, but somehow because of the lip, they "appear" smaller than 19" at night from far away.

I agree, they don't look like 19's sometimes. From a direct side view, I think the car would look better w/ 20's. From any other angle, however, the 19's look perfect.

44psi eh? I've been running 36psi...oops.
