I need some exhaust advice?

OK, My boy is making me a custom exhaust, I have 3 questions for all of you. What size should I go with? He says 3 inches, I was wondering what the comptech were? Also I was thinking of having 2 straight pipes coming back from each header, with there own independent cat, instead of them joining in the middle. Finally I don't want the exhaust loud, I have Thermal R&D on the Civic and although it puts most flowmasters to shame(Very deep tone) I would like the interior of my CL to continue to be quiet. So what exhausts have you all put on your cars and how loud have they been in comparison to your stock?

i wouldn't go w/ more than 2 1/2" on the piping.

true duals will probably result in power loss.

i don't know what your definition of loud is, i like the way my comptech exhaust sounds. if you are doing a cutom setup, who knows how loud it will be until it's finished

Loud like that resonance you get in a civic when you change the exhaust. Well I guess true duals are out the question

I'm happy with CompTech's exhaust. Remember, Honda engines work on back pressure. If you eliminate the pressure, you'll lose power.

Yeah but all the back pressure you need will come with your header install.... I would only upgrade to a custom exhaust if you decided to do the engine swap and S/C..... 3 inch straight pipes out of your ass end are going to be loud, no doubt..
