man i dropped off my car at the body shop about 4 days ago and boy do i miss her! its so weird not having a car to drive around and having to ask my friends to give me rides when we go places. i just hope these two weeks go by fast!! i can't wait to drive her again....
by the way..any tips on how to care for fresh paint? passenger side of car getting repainted. no wash for how long? no zaino for how long? thanks

 

oh man.i know u feel..a few days ago.i dropped my jeep at a body shop for the water leaking problem,and my jeep was in the body shop for 2 nights.and i missed it a lot..and it cost me $335 to fix that problem..but it is back to me now and still running strong..

 

You should be able to wash your car as normal when you get it back. Wait a couple months to wax or zaino so the new clearcoat has time to completely cure. For the time being get a bottle of ppg perfect-it dark color glaze. That stuff is the shiz.

 

wash as often as you like, no zaino for 30 days, you should start from scratch when you decide to do it

what is that ppg perfect it glaze stuff? my bodyshop told me no buffing of any sort...would that require buffing?

LoL...some guy backed into me in the parking lot of my school..i bitched about it in one of my other posts hehe.

 

damn that fuckin sucks... haha... but i know how it feels... my car has been the shop or dealer for about half a year total now... including all fixings, etc
