I Love My Sway Bar!!

OMG!!! I got my swaybar and header installed last Friday. Ever since then I've been enjoying my drive in the CLS by 10 fold!!

I've always had sticks since I started driving, and this CL is the first Auto I've ever owned.. I was starting to get bored of it until now. I mean when I was waiting for both the header and swaybar to come from Comptech.. I was more looking forward to the 1000 dollar header.. but instead all I've been noticing is how well my car handles since the installation of both upgrades.

I took my car up some twisty over the weekend and it handle like a dream!! Almost make me feel like I have a real sports car!!

For you guys who have your car lowered but don't have the sways yet, get them!! (btw, I don't work for Comptech, or have anything to do with them)

I was wondering, I've seen some of you guys have the Neuspeed upper strutbars, does it help a lot, or you don't really notice much since the TypeS comes with a stock one already. Also, I've taken out my rear seats before and noticed that there is a piece of metel welded across the car. Therefore, am I correct to assume that there is no way for a rear strutbar setup for our cars right?

Thanks!!

How much were the sway bars, were they easy to install, and you can really feel that much of a difference?

Do you think it is worth it? Does it improve the handling that much?

Congrats on the headers and sways, those were the first 2 mods i did, and what a difference !! You will need better tires now to take advantage of the better handling though.

But I would assume the downpipe of the header is safer now right?

peiqinglong,

How much did you pay for the Cusco Front Upper strut? Looks very nice!!

mattg,

Mind giving some insights on how you have a rear strut? Or at least show some picture of it?

Liquid_x,

I paid $300 for front and rear shipped, I guess I should have check the the fourm first for the $250 deal.
You won't regret it!

BTW, can someone give a quick overview of the difference before and after installing the upper strut bar? and am I correct to assume that the lower tie bars serves somewhat the same purpose, or does it behave like the sways?

I don't have the Cusco in my posession as of yet. Cusco is currently back ordered. ValueTL on the Acura-TL.com website is selling it on his website www.value-caraudio.com...but if you wait and once I get the upper and lower, and do the test fit, there is a good possibility of a groupbuy. The upper bar is $150 and the lower bar is $80-$90 not shipped based on ValueTL's prices...groupbuy should be cheaper...not sure how much yet.
