I love cars

So far in my years I have owned the following:
2001 Acura CL-S
2000 Audi A6
1998 Nissan Maxima SE 5 SPD
1994 Lexus GS300
1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT 5 SPD
1989 Nissan Maxima SE 5 SPD
1986 Toyota Cressida
1982 BMW 633CSi
1984 Toyota Cressida
1974 BMW Bavaria

And ya know what? I loved them all. Not one bad experience in any of them. Who's missing? American cars. So enough of the hating. I've had BMW's, Audi's, Nissan's, Lexi, and others. I was never obsessed by any of them. As one of the members said "You are not your fukking signature".

gto, my first car was in 1980 (it was a 1976 Roadrunner), I can only wish that my vehicle ownership list is half the size of yours in 6 more years. Unfortunately I was brought up in a Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth household. My first foreign car was a new 1986 Integra LS, then a new 1990 Integra GS, now this car.

Acura has been the only foreign car I've owned. Once you go foreign, you never go back.

Ken, the funny thing is that up until 1974 I had owned American cars. My first foreign car was a 1974 Toyota Celica GT. What a piece of crap! Before that I owned a 1973 Ford T-Bird (hood the length of an aircraft carrier) and a few others beside. American cars seemed to fall apart after the oil crisis in 1973/4. Only now are they starting to come back. I didn't mention that my ex-wife had a 1987 Plymouth Voyager (POS), a 1993 Ford Exploder XLT, a 1998 Ford Exploder XLT and my experience with the three of them keeps me away from Ford and Chrysler.

I got seduced by the saleswoman . Actually, it was in LA and the car was "TOMB" quiet. It had the Nakamichi Sound System and was spectacular in that regard. No oomph though. It was good looking though. I still think it was one of the best designs out there.

My first car was a Datsun 240Z. I loved this car. So did the "honeys".

'59 Corvette
'77 Corvette
'78 Grand Prix (I had to buy a Pontiac because I was working for them at the time.) They frowned on their engineers driving another division's auto.
'79 Corvette (Piece of Sh**)
'83 Porsche 944 (244,000mi. when retired)
'95 Accord
'98 Accord
'01 CLS
