I lost my XS headers gaskets! (the rings)

shit i lost my gaskets that come with my headers! (the metal rings) what can i do? it is possible to buy the same size at the acura dealer?

My DC sports used the OEM ones from (I believe) a CLP. I have a set at home and can give you the part numbers later. Bear in mind I have no idea if it's the same for your headers.

I'm pretty sure someone tried using oem gaskets and they didn't fir in the headers. You better start searching

I bought some extra metal gaskets from NAPA when I was installing my headers. They or other auto parts stores should have them

I bought new gaskets when i installed -- they werent specific to the CL or to XS --- ill see if i can find the part number...

If i recall correctly i re used the old gasket that met the stock piping, the other two i changed...

edit: no search function, i will look through my records for the purchase receipt with the part numbers when i get home...

im pretty sure ur not supposed to use the gaskets that come with the headers cuz there crap quality, your supposed to get new ones from the dealer and dont use the bolts they give u either

look for some xs header threads for more info

I think the front cat gasket on the Accord 3.0 will work for all three gaskets for the headers.

This is something I researched into a while back and it sucks when you don't know what it is.

yeah everything went fine.. we went to the dealer honda and bought all of the 3 gaskets.

Car is running fine with the headers and hi flow cat.! But tonight my clutch started to SLIP!!!
