The pics that I got to work with are pretty much the same ones you've all seen, just alot of different ones....like the one in front of the Ford dealer.

I have had 3 Fords :
Ford Fiesta 1998 ,two axles water pump front engine cover half shaft carrier bearing three carburetors complete exhaust twice and an exhaust manifold .
Ford Mustang SVO 1987:Water pump differential head gasket twice several fog lighte switches and associated wiring die to burnout
Ford Mustang GT 1994 : Differential ABS ecu 2 times front brake rotors 3 times never correctly fixed failed rear pinion seal crank seal leak .
Nuff' said about Ford I think

For laughs, go the the NHTSB website sometime and pick some random cars (pick one that's a couple years old so it's really up to date) and look at the number of TSBs or Recalls made. You'll get a pleasant surprise when you compare our Acura (even the CL with it's list of stuff that many complain of) to a Ford.

If you look at these lists you should note a couple important points:
1) No car is problem free.
2) Some cars have more problems then others.

I actually used this information when I went shopping for our mini-SUV. Subaru has a relatively short list, especially when you compare to domestics.

I don't think they are gonna deviate from the concept that much. It will probably have minor changes....you don't think that car looks good

NOT MUCH?? The concept car is a 2 SEATER !! The PRODUCTION car will be a 4 seater

EDIT: added link so that people won't think the production version will be exactly like the concept(s). Didn't we go thru this with the TL not having side rear view mirrors

from: http://www.nctd.com/sneakpreview.cfm?ReviewID=36

The biggest exception is the seating arrangement. The Mustang GT and Convertible concepts are two-seaters, while the 2005 production car will retain the Mustang's familiar 2+2 seating, perhaps with a bit more room in back thanks to contemporary packaging.

sOOPA IS On a ROLL!

Oh and I am tired of this retro crap. It is 2003. Where is the future crap? The 350Z, Chrysler Cruiser, this all are bloated, fat, overweight attempts at the originals.

Then again, we do have hella govt. mandates to meet.

Too bad thats the concept Mustang

Ya I'm right there with you Nicky, I have had pics of it from the Chicago auto show in my Cube at work all year.

I look at the concept everyday. Hoping the final production will look similar.

I posted a spy pic of the new mustang a week ago in a thread.

We have 2 years to wait. I have also heard 500hp rumors... but who knows.

My dad has seen the inside pics from Ford and he said that the production vehicle will look VERY similar to the concept vehicle. The interior will use a lot of the styling cues from the concept as well. It's been stated before, but the GT will not go IRS.

I wasnt trying to start a anti-ford thread, but seriously, If I remember correctly, the ford focus has one of the highest number of recalls and problems of a new car ever..

But its just my civil duty to keep people from going to ford. lol
