I hope I'm not the first or the 2nd, 3rd....!

Has anybody ever heard of the entire car (01's only) actually getting stolen?

I ask because my dealer said to his knowledge not a single one has ever been stolen due to it's security system. Hmm...?

Now I'd be surprised if it hasn't but, since I got mine back in June 00 alot of time has elapsed. I'd think someone might have heard of it? Anybody?

Interesting, hopefully this is true, but I doubt it is. This should keep our insurance rates from going up even more.

Unfortunately there's not a security system that's reasonable that can't prevent someone with a flatbed truck and a winch from jacking your ride.

There is a theft recovery currently sitting at Riverside Acura. The car will require $21K in parts replacement and repair....and the insurance company refuses to declare it a total loss.

Not to be negative, but if a dealer tells me that I'll believe it as much as the "you'll get 2 free Navi updates".....
