Oh, my bad!!! That was your car?!?!

Jumping to conclusions aren't we? How do you know they didn't BUY them from an Acura dealership? If you go to the parts department you can normally buy all the badges that come on a car.

Just because someone stole yours, doesn't mean everytime you see another car with a Type-S badge, that it was stolen.

Most likely it was one of those low life CL-P owners who couldn't pony up for real thing, so they gotta front by stealing yours. Yea, that's what probably happened, darn those cheap-o CL-P and TL-P owners! Sheez...

Who in their right mind would go purchase one from Acura when it is the easiest part to snag off a CL/TL-S ....

Get real! I've had mine stolen twice and I foolishly go out and give acura more money for a new one....next time, it is coming off a civic or an accord.... I'm reclaiming my, or someone else's property!

This may be far fetched, but Acura ppl are prolly hiring punk ass teenage kids to steal these badges. Pay them 2 bucks for every badge they steal. In turn, the owner comes back to the dealer buying a new one for 15 bucks and the dealer sells the same one that was stoeln from him/her Hey, you gotta make up for bad CL sales somehow!! :-)

Hey welcome to the fourm , and I see your from VA. try to show up at the next nova meet aight? Well I too got my type S badge, 'debadged' from a mofo when I was living in a bad neighborhood w/ my grandmother near arlington. They also scratched my paint. For the next couple days I was driving around my apartment complex w/ a brick in my car waiting to put it through some accord or civic. Well didn't find it and what I ended up doing was going to the dealer and played dummy. Told them the type S badge just fell off. Well we both know I was full of shit but they hooked me up and repainted the scratched and gave me a new type S badge. I also ordered another one and have it sitting in my car. Just in case some mofo steal this one I can replace it right away. I then want to see the look on that mofo when he see's my car the next day Still w/ the Type S badge.

if u want to order one get it from ahmotor.com about 25 including shipping.

You know and I know with the proliferation of rice in our area that anything with a Type-S badge around here is stolen. I've had my mom's civic badge half stolen...because the fucks broke it and scratched the shit out of it too...a fucking civic badge...not to mention two sets of foglights...oh yeah...and a car cover..I swear...that my Louisville slugger is gonna hit some kid's rice car one of these days.

Have you people thought about using a razor blade or needle and etching your intials or some kind of mark on your badge in case it is stolen... You can check every Type-S badge you see if yours gets stolen.

You can then very UNcarefully remove YOUR badge from their car using a large 12" screw driver and make sure you have sand paper handy to "rub" off any adhesive that might have been left behind by your removal job.

Looks like my my badge which was lifted from Chinatown, LA must have found its way to VA.
My dealer rocks, they gave me a new S badge as well as a new 3.2CL badge for free, and I told them not to put them on the car because I prefer its de-badged appearance. Maybe I can sell the new badges on e-bay for $50

Many Accord V6 owners have been debaged of their v6's as well, so don't totally blame the "rice" badging on us. As for stealing back badges, that might ease your suffering a little, but in the end ur only stooping to their level. The majority of Accord v6 owners are mature enough to purchase them from a dealership, i4 owners I can't vouch for since those are the accords I see the majority of kids driving, while I can see civic or integra owners stealing them. But there's always exceptions to every generalization, so the next time you see an Accord with a Type S badge, do what ya gotta do if ya feel it's necessary, but make sure to at least check if it's a v6 or i4 as well just to let us know ...

Hey guys, how about this...

You know who and what you are, no matter what "badge" you are wearing. So fuck who-ever stole your type-s badge, he/she obviousluy needed it more than you did. Sure you paid for it, do you need it though? I understand some of this, I would be pissed if someone defaced my property as well but come on lads...
Either pay the $20 it takes to keep your "title" on the streets- Or pay the price of being you, badge or not.
If I saw another CL-S on the streets- I would know it for what it was(Type S badge or not). If I saw any other car with a "Type-S" badge on it, I would know them for what they were as well.
I'm not trying to flame, but what do you say?

Just take it off! Uh, the badge not your clothes silly. I already removed the V6 badge from my Accord. A true enthusiast will know how to tell the difference b/w a real one and fake one.

How about those cocky Stang owners who cant tell they raced a CL-P or a CL-S? I saw a CLP with type S badge. I felt so piss that I was inches away from yanking that badge out. Luckily, the driver was a lady ... prolly her son did the stupid thing. So if you live in Soutwest Houston area, driving a white CLP with type S badge, please do something about the badge.
