I want that remote!!! What do I have to do to get one of those from my dealer? If I claim mine broke, would they replace it with a new one?

Do I gotta pay?

well affter they tried to rape me for 44 bucks, i just had to GLANCE at the service manager that i KNEW heard the guy tell me, and he said, NO dont worry, we'l do it no charge... he did that cause of my history with the dealership, and the hate web site i threated to post about them, and the letter i was gonna send, and the threat on the answering machine..haha lots of things..

I think it was shawn that had the instructions to program it, but i KNOW if you start a thread about it on the board, it will be answered in less than 1 hour...

its on the board somewhere...

Or you could just buy a TL-S cause they're way cooler than a CL... . Btw, TL Keys have the Acura logo in white, not red...

The transmitter is your [new] remote. The transmitter reciever [sic] is the antenna somewhere in your car, you don't have to worry about that, just aim it any place in the car and you'll be fine. Push only the buttons on the remote. In just a few minutes, you're set.

In February, Acura changed the color of the key inserts from red to white. My first cl-s purchased in Nov00 had red but the one i purchased in Feb01 has the white. I personally prefer the red.

Dude, our keys/fobs suck compared to any of the other lux crowd like BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc.

Got in touch with the guy, and he emailed me back. I'll have the keychain shortly. Thanks for the 411!

That one still sucks, even though it looks nicer. We need a transmitter built into our car keys. That would be sweet!

yeah, like what Rod said, we need to have the transmitter built into the key, like what many of the other luxo car makers incorporate.

the key and transmitter combination is too bulky. our transmitters look like the ones for the honda. i can almost confuse mine with my friend's civic transmitter.
