I have a 2003 Cl-S with about 1800 miles on it, and when I had my radio off today and put on my brakes, I heard some squealing, like it does in my dad's porsche (which I know is normal for his car)......Is the 03 Cl-S suppose to squeal a little when the breaks are applied?

 

Anyone know about this?

 

Does it squeak a little or a lot? A little squeaking would be considered normal (although my car doesn't do it). If it's really bugging you call the dealer and his him about it.
The board is slow over the weekends...

 

As Mike said, at this stage, your car shouldn't really have any brake squeal. I'd definitely concur that you oughta' get it back into the dealer pronto......

 

Hm... that is odd. Im a little dissapointed with Acura. Squealing, Terrible Paint, and Rattles all over with 1800 miles, unacceptable.

 

So buy a Porsche..YMMV
