I stopped at a gas station to relieve myself, when I came back, My CLS was bit parked in a way you can see "the plumbing"

I was shocked to see that T-pipe is YELLOW from rust !!! What the heck, a car just 9 months old is rusting!!!!

Also, the black paint on the mufflers is gone! it is half black half Al color!

What is happening with my CLS!. I never expected that Acura CLS has so low quality down below.... I am very sad for this .... Why this, Acura?

I need to get it to the dealer and fight to have this corrected under warrantee!

Please any feedback is welcomed. Anyone got the rust and black paint repaired under warrantee?

Corrosion on the exhaust plumbing is typical on any vehicle NNH however the paint coming off the mufflers is not and is subject to a bulletin published quite some time ago.What need to be done is that your dealer has to repaint the mufflers with an appropriate high temp paint.Corrosion on the pipes (t-pipe) etc is not abnormal especially considering the salt useage on public roads.Jens

I have noticed the same thing. When I asked my dealer they said it was due to the salt and sand on the roads that we get in colder snowey climates.

I am still thinking on driving to your dealership, meet you, wayne and get the comptechs in, sways, spring, headers and some yellow konis....

My boss had mentioned to me that you were interested in coming down to New Jersey for a day to have the work done on your car.Let us know when you are ready so we can schedule things and have all the required parts on hand.Jens

Oh, Yeah, for sure it would be on a weekend. most probably, I will drop it for a saturday. I need to clear up a day from a schedule and drive those 250 miles to your dealership. I will call in. order the parts and book a saturday, 1 week in advance.

Jens do you have a dealership in MN that you would recommend? Bloomington that I currently go to is not a very good dealership and NJ is too far to drive.
