i hate cops! there are so many of them here at ann arbor u of m, and i'm so sick of them. ann arbor is a very safe place, but i guess these cops has nothing to do but give out tickets. i usually come home at 3am, and there are at least 3-4 cops waiting for someone to speed at 3am. i see at least 3-4 cops and my home is only 6 miles from school!! don't they have anything better to do? also, i was walking my dog on a TIGHT leash on my campus, and there were 2 cops coming toward me. and one cop yells at me "DO NOT LET YOUR DOG TOUCH ME!" i was like WTF? i was at least 20ft away from him. he stared at me as if i was a criminal. he humilated me in front of many people, and i would never forget that nasty look on his face. man, i hate these cops, i'm sure there are good cops somewhere, but so far all my encounters with cops were never pleasant.

 

Are these campus police or city police?

For now your best course of action would be to telephone them and complain over the phone; it won't get you anywhere but it will help you feel better to yell slightly (don't shout) your complaint to the sergeant on duty.

Start practicing now, you're gonna need it later in life.....

 

Eh, maybe that guy had dog issues? I hear what you are saying but even though generally they @#$% over people like us, we are all better with them. Wait until you have a girlfriend walking home and their presence saves her from a feel. I have had dogs...a GShepherd and Dpinsher. I put up with a lot of dog prejudice. I have a cat now.

i have a german shephard. he was 5 month old puppy. how can anybody yell at a puppy? i do not understand. aren't cops suppose to love german shephard? well, i guess he had a dog issue. i wish he get jumped by mad dogs and get rabies.

anyway, i still can't erase the images of his nasty face in my head..

I'm guessing it was campus police? Not everyone is bad, but campus police at all colleges are notorious for their arrogance. They walk around like they own the place.

Well i hate cops too but the funniest thing happened the other day... Any of you guys saw the movie Super Troppers? Anyway i was driving East bound on the Southern State (for all your LIers) and a cop pulled me over around exit 22. So i was like whats the problem officer I wasnt speeding lol. So he was like your tints are too dark so he was going back to his car to assign me a warning or whatever so i was like officer can i show u something my tints arent dark at all. So i thought he said yes and i came out the car and he saw me he yelled "DONT GET OUT THE CCAAARR" lol his voice cracked while yelling so i was on almost on the floor laughing my ass off he prolly thought i was drunk or something and his partner had this smirk on his face too like he was trying to hold it in. Dont know why i told u all this story i guess its something you had to be there for. I think he was a rookie. noob

It's because they have a complex. They couldn't make it on a real force, so they join up with a college security force. Makes them feel tough.

But the whole "I hate pigs" "Pigs suck" crap is arrogant and ignorant in itself. That's a worse attitude than the doggiephobic guy. Go on a ride-along in a crappy part of town some weekend night and see what sh*tbags the police have to deal with.

 

In my experience most officers are fairly courteous unless you disrespect them but that doesn't seem to be the case here. I'd forget about a telephone complaint. written complaints sent via certified mail are taken more seriously. Write your complaint well enough so that if it were to appear in the local paper it would not be a source of embarassment for you. You never know, if things escalate a carbon copy sent to the local press can really work wonders if they publish it.

 

Because pig and dog DNA just won't splice.
