When you guys post your stories about racing...are they strictly straight-line, no traffic, no talent needed races...or are they maybe 2 or 3 lane races with mild to moderate traffic, changing lanes at 80-90 mph, for an extended period of time? i have a feeling which you are talkign about...and it is pretty sad...

 

Well... If you want to race people, weave in and out of traffic, kill someone (possibly yourself), get taken to jail and become someone's bitch... Have fun... That kind of racing is plain retarted.

 

No see....in order to race like that..to weave in and out of traffic..and not get in an accident..or even close calls..takes talent..i would LOVE to race some of these import kids..or anyone else that thinks for a second that racing a 1/4 mile at a time is a rush or something big and tough. cause they're not..

I'm all about speed, and yes I've gone to the track before. Next summer I'm going to a BMW driving school to see what it takes to drive well. And all of this has been or will be done in a controlled environment. I've had some fun on the streets, but certainly not the the extremes that you care to go to.

Your so-called driving skills will hopefully get you caught someday and maybe you'll become a better person because of it. It certainly sounds like to me that you need to grow up and realize that while the 1/4 mile run may not be the most exciting way to race, it's much better than taking someone's elses life because you thought it'd be fun to drag race and drive your car to the limit on a busy road or interstate.

Get a 6 speed at least Mr. Manly Man Street Bandit! You probably just bought the '01 because you got it at a repo auction and it's barely what your "Sanitary Engineer" paycheck can pay for...

The guys on this board don't have to "challenge" people in every conversation because they know the difference between reality and fantasy. You think the CL-S is "made" to toss around severely at 90+ speeds? I hope for your life you don't have stock suspension, and don't go spouting off any "I gots Prokits man!" junk either. You obviously don't know much about suspension geometry.
When's the last time you saw a CL-S in a road racing event? Nothing wrong with the CL but it aint gonna contend with other cars out there as a true road racer. I think that even die-hard CL owners can agree with that.
But I guess that's where the difference between Fantasy and REALITY come in... You need to come back to reality. The REALITY is that you're not smart enough to know and care about the dangers you pose to others when you "race" through traffic (which is hardly racing at all) and in REALITY you don't even have the skills of a true DRIVER to compete on any real level of autosport... because if you did you'd already know better than to drive and talk like you do.

So... by your own words you've revealed just what type of person, driver and IDIOT you are...

 

exactly ...i wanted to stay out of this but draggin obviously takes alot of skill that's why im not making several 100K driving a top fuel car as we speak... hey PuLL you know what was cool...how much earlier im having to shift into third in the 1/8th as my times go up...it's just amazing to me how much that 60' means last week i got 3 2.0** 60's all resulted in a 9.0 or better
