I have a stock 2003 cl-s manual.and my friend has a gs430 and he has been wanting to race me since i go tmy car. bu ti never did i Kno he has a way better chance because im stock.. but as we was on our way back from mc donaldswe was at a light and then he just was forcing me (peer presures a bitch). so we went at it he didint leave me by much but he still blowed me.. (wait til i get my exhaust and headers i think it might be a head to head race.)

 

and we shut off at 85 because i do live in NY.

No, I had headers and a custom intake (which yielded nothing on the dyno ). Rick (in the GS400) had an intake and exhaust, I beleive that was all.

It was a nasty day, summer in the south, with the dew point the same as the temperature; in the mid 80's. Gnats all around. My father-in-law in his SC430, video below, could hardly break into the 15's that day.

Correct, they should be close stock. From a roll I would nod to the CL-S6 due to gearing.

 

yo those gs 430 are pretty fast... i drove it and i felt a big difference it feels more powerful....but ill get him wen i get some headers and exhaust.. but he didint accutally blow me i was up to his ASS>>!

 

doesn't the gs430 have the advantage at higher speeds? i remember reading in a kill story a while back that the gs walked the cl-s 80+

 

I dunno, apparently not the 6-Speed CL-S. I was consistently trapping 2 - 3 MPH higher.
