It would be from a guy who does the tints for the DUB Mag, cars. You can see them on the DUB web site. I know that i would get a quality job on them but i thought the price was kinda high. It is $100.00 per light. So $400.00 for tail and headlights. I want to get this done but $400????? Would you do it?

does the film go over the head/tail light or would u have to take them apart and tape the film on the innerside?

 

i 'believe' you dont even have to remove the lights...the film goes right over the light housing. i have not really looked into this, but i'm doing it anyways.

there's also another option: spray-on tint...just like spray paint...about $10 or $20 a can

 

you can get a set of tint film from RockBlocker for about 100 to your door for all the lights. 3m 20mil film that covers your lights and you can take it off without messing up your lights.

i had a civic with clear tails, and got multiple tickets, so i painted it with candy apple red spray paint, looked great, but......had to do it 2-3 times a year depanding how many times i washed it/how bad the weather was. still better than $400. not hard to do.
like explained above, get some masking tape, old newspapers....wax the rest of the car while the paint is drying...

 

to put things in perspective... i paid 180 and i had ALL of my windows tinted INCLUDING the windshield....

Thats what i was thinking, i have gone to a ton of shops and when i ask for tint spray they look at me like im stupid. Any major store carry nightshades?? Pepboys, autozone ect...
