I was in a sporting mood so I decided to race this sleek looking chevy caprice station wagon, that came to a stop next to me at a light. I throw it in N and rev the engine a couple times and look over and give him the nod. He glances back and gives me a thumbs up. He then proceeds to start reving his engine and as the light turns green we go at it! I got a decent launch in my TL-S with little wheel spin but I ended up being behind by about a half a car length off the bat b/c of his amazing launch. The guy had a VERY rare manny tranny caprice wagon and had it chipped with a turbo. (Another way that I know it was modded was that he replaced the wood panels on the body of the car with carbon fiber.) Reason why he got the jump on me was b/c of his incredible launch...the guy dropped the clutch at about 6000rpm.
With in seconds my auto shifts into 2nd then third. I glance over...WTF...he's still pulling on me. He's still in second and taking it up to his 12,000 rpm red line (hey I said it was chipped didn't I?) We're heading down at about 70mph and rising, but wait, all of a sudden I'm catching up and pass him....he missed 3rd gear!!! We both come up to the next light and he gives me a thumbs up as he gives me a thumbs up as he turns right and guns it....leaving me only with the memory of his blow of valve on his stage II twin turbo set up.

wtf??? they have turbo kits, carbon fiber hood and chip for a CAPRICE??? on top of that a station wagon??? how did you find this guy anyway? just weird....

 

Dude, come on, you know he was just toying with you, those Caprices came with 150shot of N2O stock. I now this guy, he told be he was only running 17lbs of boost on you.

and the clutch, and twin turbo setup, and the chip winding the engine out to 12000 rpm, and the wood paneling on the body replaced with carbon fiber...isn't it obvious?
This car's a sleeper....cause you gotta be asleep to dream up a car like this.
