I got he urge to burn some $1800 on Comptech Headers and Anti-Sway bars
I started considering burning some $1800 on Comptech headers and Anti-Sway bars..
I am trying to convience of my wife to do it, I just pulled the line, ... I would be driving to Park Avenue Acura, 230 miles, 4hrs drive, spend the day somewhere in Big Apple while the car is being worked on, have an overnight stay in some nice hotel and drive back home the next day.
I guess the hotel overnight stay and Big Apple visit is appealing to her...
Hmmm, what do you think? is it worth the $1800? Can I find a better deal?

Hmmm... I thought energy prices came down (here in California) and that the reason Comptech charged more for the "latest" headers was the "energy surcharge fee" that everyone was paying...
If you want to get that "extra" push from 5000- to 7000-Rpms, you got to pay the piper.
The sways work fine for me -- I'm very happy
BTW -- I wouldn't expect to drop a 1/2 second in the 1/4 mile, the gain in HP is localized to too small an area of the rev range. If you do a lot of buzzing around high rpms, you will wonder why you didn't get them sooner...
